Partnering

BAAS Construction Ltd. is actively seeking to establish long term and ever closer ties with our Clients via the adoption of formal or informal Partnership arrangements in line with 'Egan' principles and as envisaged under the 'Rethinking Construction' report.

We have been extremely successful in forming Partnership relationships with many of our Clients over the past three years enabling us to increase our annual turnover by almost 100% in that period. In 2004 80% of our turnover was undertaken via formal or informal Partnership arrangement.

• Improved Health and Safety awareness amongst the whole team via the establishment of a more structured approach to training.
  
  
• A more integrated approach to environmental issues and the effects of the project on the surrounding area by the maximisation of recycling initiatives, neighbourhood management and the involvement of the whole Community.
  
  
• Continuity of work, enabling maximisation of benefit to the local Community and economy, the employment of local people, local Suppliers and the establishment of structured training schemes.
  
  
• The full involvement of all our Staff to enable contribution, suggest changes and improvements and stimulate innovation.
  
  
• The maximisation of the use of IT to improve efficiency, communications and openness.
  
  
• To set targets and measure performance against those targets. To undertake a Customer Satisfaction survey.

BAAS Construction Ltd. would be very pleased to become involved in any large scale Strategic or Project Partnering opportunities that may arise in the future to achieve Decent Homes Standard for Local Authorities and RSL's in the North West and West Yorkshire regions.
